Paving Crew Laborer

The Paving Crew Laborer plays a crucial role in supporting paving projects through manual labor and equipment operation. Working closely within small local crews, this role involves preparing work sites, assisting team members, and ensuring safety compliance under the guidance of a Crew Supervisor. Responsibilities

• Prepare paving sites including shoveling and sweeping
• Operate basic tools and equipment such as rakes, wheel barrows, shovels, lutes, and brooms
• Assist crew members with various tasks to support project completion
• Perform physically demanding manual labor including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Collaborate effectively with team members in small local crews
• Follow safety protocols and report to Crew Supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in construction labor preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to consistently perform heavy lifting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Awareness of and adherence to safety standards
