Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeping

We are looking for an Environmental Services Worker to join our team. The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for disposal of hazardous waste and additional tasks as required for efficient operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintains strict confidentiality concerning all internal and external organizational matters;

2. Performs required housekeeping activities which includes:

· Sweeping

· Mopping

· Vacuuming floors

3. Gathers and disposes of trash, washes wastebaskets and large refuse containers, and relines with plastic bags;

4. Cleans lighting fixtures, door frames, and other places;

5. Cleans air conditioning vents, baseboards and window sills;

6. Washes sinks and other plumbing fixtures, cleans water coolers and replaces disposables, such as towels, soap, and toilet paper;

7. Keeps waiting areas clean and orderly;

8. Complies with established infection control policies and procedures in performing housekeeping duties;

9. Reports any mechanical failure or negative condition observed;

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED required.

2. Two years experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
