Branch Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead daily branch operations, sales efforts, and customer service initiatives
- Coach, develop, and motivate staff to achieve branch performance goals
- Grow consumer and business banking relationships through excellent service and business development efforts
- Identify opportunities to expand deposits, loans, and other banking services
- Support consumer and business account openings and referral opportunities
- Build relationships within the local community through networking and business outreach
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, audit standards, and internal procedures
- Monitor branch performance, profitability, and operational risk
- Conduct employee coaching, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with leadership on branch growth strategies and market opportunities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3–5 years of banking experience required
- Previous branch management experience required
- Experience managing a branch with a deposit portfolio of at least $80 million preferred
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong background in sales, customer relationship management, and business development
- Knowledge of retail banking operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software platforms
- Ability to obtain NMLS registration and Notary Public certification
- Valid driver's license required
