Management Trainee

The Management Trainee (MT) will work closely with department managers and the Operations Manager, gradually taking on more responsibilities with the goal of progressing to a branch or department manager role. This position involves hands-on involvement in daily operational tasks, supporting multiple teams, and helping drive departmental growth and efficiency across the company.

Responsibilities

• Support department managers with daily operational responsibilities and business tasks
• Learn and assist in customer service, branch management, and company procedures
• Supervise customer service personnel, warehouse staff, and delivery drivers as needed
• Assist with employee evaluations, promote teamwork, morale, and operational efficiency
• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction scores and quality control measures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, training manuals, and vehicle maintenance schedules
• Track, review, and report on orders, deliveries, and productivity data
• Aid in training new hires and conducting competency assessments
• Prepare and support sales and operational reporting for management
• Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure smooth branch operations
• Support outreach efforts such as customer calls and client follow-ups
• Help resolve escalated customer service issues and perform audits for continuous improvement
• Travel between locations as needed and back up various roles
• Report directly to the Operations Manager and collaborate on strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in sales and customer service

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
