Job Description
Team360 Staffing is hiring a Test Technician I for one of our clients in Palo Alto, CA. If you have experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate standard test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, variable power supplies, frequency counters, and related circuitry.
- Conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life-cycle testing on prototype and production systems.
- Collect, log, analyze, and interpret test data.
- Mark and document test status on completed products.
- Troubleshoot test results and collaborate with electrical engineers to resolve design-related issues.
- Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments and test equipment.
- Complete Certificates of Compliance when required.
- Maintain a safe and organized manufacturing work environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of electronic or electrical testing and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment, including:
- Digital Voltmeters (DVMs)
- Oscilloscopes
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Scales
- Familiarity with Job Packets and manufacturing documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with electronic test equipment and hand tools in a production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional communication skills when interacting with coworkers, vendors, customers, and visitors.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
