Assistant Electronics Technician

We are seeking an Assistant Electronics Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing, modifying, and replacing components on electronic circuit boards and STB units using soldering and electronic test equipment.

Important: Candidates must be available to come onsite prior to onboarding to complete a soldering skills test.

The Shift for this role is 6:30AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday

• Repair, modify, and replace components on electronic circuit boards and STB units.
• Perform both surface-mount and thru-hole soldering and de-soldering.
• Troubleshoot electronic equipment and identify issues at the component level.
• Operate electronic test and repair equipment, including:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Spectrum analyzers
  • Volt meters
  • Soldering equipment
  • Automated repair equipment, including BGA equipment
• Read and interpret basic electronic schematics.
• Maintain required quality and productivity standards.
• Accurately enter completed unit information into computer systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous soldering and de-soldering experience.
• Ability to perform both surface-mount (SMT) and thru-hole soldering.
• Ability to operate electronic test equipment.
• Basic ability to read electronic schematics.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter data.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-onboarding soldering skills test.

Pay $18.00 per hour W2, based on experience and demonstrated skills.
