Welder

Job Title: MIG Welder

Pay: 20-24/hr

1st Shift - 5am-3:30pm - M-Th.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on stainless steel parts and assemblies
• Set up and operate welding equipment for different jobs
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to complete work accurately
• Measure and apply basic shop math for precise fabrication
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and strength standards
• Assist with part preparation and fabrication tasks
• Adapt to changing projects in a fast-paced job-shop environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace

Requirements:

• MIG welding experience or welding certification
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Knowledge of welding safety practices
• Experience with stainless steel preferred
• Team player with strong attention to detail

Work Environment:

• Non-climate-controlled fabrication shop (dusty but ventilated)
• Work with welding equipment and metal materials daily
• 1st & 2nd shifts available (4-day work week + OT on Fridays)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
