Forklift Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Worker-Industrial to join our team at Land O' Lakes Animal Milk Solutions. The role will support warehouse operations, materials handling, and production movements with a focus on safety, accuracy, and cleanliness.

Schedule and Worksite Details:

• Days: Monday - Friday, weekends as needed
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Assignment Type: Covering medical leave

Interview Process:

Candidates will visit the plant to meet with supervisors. A plant tour will follow for selected candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and deliver materials within or near the worksite using a forklift or other equipment.
• Count and weigh materials or containers and record information on forms and logs.
• Fill orders, package goods, load trucks, and move stock within the warehouse.
• Transport materials to and from production areas safely and efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping floors and cleaning spills or product messes.
• Organize inventory and storage areas to support efficient operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to support varying tasks and occasional weekend needs.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate recordkeeping.
• General knowledge of safety and environmental procedures with the ability to follow them.
• Ability to lift 51+ lbs as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior forklift operation experience.
• Experience in warehouse or production environments.

Safety and Work Environment:

• Steel-toed shoes required. Additional PPE may be provided as needed.
• May operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as assigned.
• May work in confined spaces and wear a respirator when required.
• Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise may occur. Safety procedures must be followed.
• No tractor, vehicle, or manlift operation required.
