Job Description

We are looking for a Contract Paralegal to support the Employment Practices & Civil Rights Unit in Denver, Colorado. This immediate role offers an opportunity to contribute to active legal matters by providing dependable litigation and case support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, organization, and attention to detail while managing a high volume of assignments for attorneys and stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

• Examine legal records and case materials to identify sensitive information and prepare properly redacted documents for use and distribution.

• Coordinate calendars for hearings, filing deadlines, meetings, and other legal events to help attorneys stay on track with case milestones.

• Participate in client conferences and administrative proceedings by assisting with preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities.

• Maintain orderly case files and supporting records, ensuring documents are current, accessible, and accurately organized.

• Support attorneys with discovery by assembling materials, drafting responses, and tracking requests and productions.

• Compile and arrange records, evidence, and related materials to strengthen case preparation and ongoing litigation efforts.

• Create trial exhibits, notebooks, and other hearing or trial support materials needed for effective presentation.

• Provide additional paralegal and administrative assistance as needed to meet workload demands, including approved overtime when required.

• At least 5 years of paralegal experience, including recent work supporting multiple attorneys.
• Background in civil litigation with practical knowledge of discovery processes and case preparation.
• Familiarity with employment law matters is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with case management software and document organization tools used in legal environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, scheduling demands, and competing priorities with accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with attorneys, clients, and administrative bodies.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced legal setting.
