Job Description
Join our team as an Install Apprentice where you will be responsible for installing countertops at various residential and commercial sites. This role involves hands-on experience in construction and carpentry, ensuring a high-quality finish for our valued clients.
Responsibilities- Inspect vehicle for damage, wear, and fluid levels.
- Ensure all forms, tools, and supplies are in the vehicle.
- Inspect the load prior to departure to verify all pieces and accessories are loaded and secured.
- Safely transport all pieces and personnel to and from each jobsite.
- Prepare the site for install, including setting up cabinets, access, and drop cloths.
- Take photos of any pre-existing damage and address it with the customer.
- Carry or cart pieces into the home and arrange and attach pieces as designed.
- Trim and polish pieces as needed to obtain the best fit.
- Finish work such as tying-in edges, caulking gaps, and gluing seams.
- Clean tops completely and remove existing tops or plumbing.
- Clean the outside work area.
- Take photos of completed jobs and any problem areas, and submit them appropriately.
- Ensure all required forms are signed and submit paperwork to designated areas.
- Maintain an efficient, clean, and organized work area.
- 1-3 years of construction experience.
- 1-3 years of carpentry or masonry experience.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Experience using a level and tape measure.
- Strong mathematical accuracy.
- Ability to lift 150 lbs or more.
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.

Work EnvironmentWork takes place Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with voluntary overtime available on weekends. You will work in both residential and commercial construction environments, both indoors and outdoors in non-temperature-controlled settings. Expect moderate to very loud noise levels. Travel may extend up to 3 hours from the shop, requiring a commitment of 50-60 hours per week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
