Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray | Mobile Imaging
Location: San Jose, CA
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time & Part-Time
Openings: 5 (3 Full-Time, 2 Part-Time)
Shift: Varied – AM, PM, Afternoons, Evenings & Weekends
Hours: 8-hour shifts
On-Call: Yes – Discussed during interview
Weekend Requirements: Weekend coverage required

About the Opportunity
Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray in San Jose, CA. This role provides mobile X-Ray and, when required, EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient care locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently, interacting with a variety of patients, and providing quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic mobile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-Ray examinations using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
- Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic, and technically competent X-Ray images.
- Submit and transmit completed imaging studies to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Safely unload, transport, and operate portable X-Ray equipment at assigned healthcare facilities.
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
- Complete and scan exam-related paperwork and billing documentation according to company protocols.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with dispatch and management.
- Interact professionally and respectfully with patients, healthcare staff, peers, supervisors, and clients.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and mobile X-Ray equipment in safe and proper working condition.
- Follow all applicable company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT Certification – Required
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License – Required
- Limited X-Ray license is not accepted
- Valid California driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must maintain all required state licenses, ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required. Candidates requesting an exemption must provide appropriate supporting documentation.
- Ability to safely push, pull, and transport portable imaging equipment.
- Must be comfortable working in a mobile environment and traveling between various healthcare facilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism.
