About the Opportunity

Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray in San Jose, CA. This role provides mobile X-Ray and, when required, EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient care locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently, interacting with a variety of patients, and providing quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic mobile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-Ray examinations using portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic, and technically competent X-Ray images.
• Submit and transmit completed imaging studies to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Safely unload, transport, and operate portable X-Ray equipment at assigned healthcare facilities.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
• Complete and scan exam-related paperwork and billing documentation according to company protocols.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with dispatch and management.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with patients, healthcare staff, peers, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and mobile X-Ray equipment in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow all applicable company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification – Required
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License – Required
• Limited X-Ray license is not accepted
• Valid California driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must maintain all required state licenses, ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required. Candidates requesting an exemption must provide appropriate supporting documentation.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and transport portable imaging equipment.
• Must be comfortable working in a mobile environment and traveling between various healthcare facilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism.
