Responsibilities:

• Handle insurance authorization process for hospital or medical procedures
• Work with physicians and other healthcare providers to obtain correct documentation for insurance authorizations
• Ensure compliance with insurance company requirements and healthcare laws and regulations
• Communicate with insurance companies on behalf of the patient and the healthcare provider
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures, healthcare codes, and insurance policies
• Assist physicians in determining the necessity of procedures based on health plan coverage

MUST have LPN License.
