Job Description
This in-person Project Manager role is based in Hayti, SD and focuses on overseeing multiple construction projects from initiation through completion. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Working closely with a team of construction professionals, you will use your strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to drive project success in a fast-growing, family-owned business environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects, including initiation, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and schedules, adjusting plans as needed to address changes or challenges.
- Coordinate project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to support efficient and safe project execution.
- Collaborate closely with construction professionals and field teams to ensure clear communication of project goals, expectations, and progress.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and support financial control by identifying variances and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Monitor project progress and quality, identifying risks or issues and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure that all work aligns with company standards, industry best practices, and applicable construction methods.
- Support the successful closeout of projects by confirming completion of work, documentation, and handover requirements.
- Proven track record of success in project management, specifically within the construction industry.
- Strong background in construction, with hands-on understanding of construction processes and workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate construction teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with both clients and internal team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Experience with construction project coordination and construction management responsibilities.
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
- Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings is a plus.
- Experience with wood framing is highly beneficial.
- background in commercial construction projects is advantageous.

This role is fully in-person and based in Hayti, SD, working on active construction projects in the field and in coordination with an office-based team. You will join a fast-growing, family-owned business that values collaboration, hard work, and high-quality results. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with regular interaction with construction professionals and project stakeholders. You can expect to spend time on job sites and in meetings, coordinating activities and monitoring progress across multiple projects.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
