Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and NRP certifications with a minimum of 2 years full-time ER or Critical Care experience.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
\n
• 13-week assignment with night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• Blocked scheduling not permitted
\n
• No floating to affiliate hospitals required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP required
\n
• ENPC and NIHSS certifications preferred
\n
• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in ER and/or Critical Care required (PRN experience not accepted)
\n
• Charge nurse experience preferred
\n
• Trauma Level 1 experience preferred
\n
• Ventilator experience preferred
\n
• Proof of COVID vaccination required
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide emergency nursing care across a range of acute and critical patient presentations
\n
• No rate negotiation permitted during the term of the contract
\n
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
\n
• Local candidates not accepted
\n
• Return travelers welcome, provided at least 6 months have passed since their last assignment
\n
• Zero tolerance policy for marijuana use, with automatic contract cancellation for a positive THC test
\n
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position
