Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details\n

\n
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
\n
• Medical and Surgical ICU setting in a community hospital
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:2–3, with a maximum of 5 patients in the unit; RN will be 1 of 2 RNs working the unit
\n
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to other campuses within a 75-mile radius
\n
• Epic EMR required
\n
• No block scheduling accommodated
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active OK or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; PALS preferred
\n
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Community hospital experience preferred; charge nurse experience preferred
\n
• Proficient in IV therapy, central line care/management, arterial line management, PICC line management, blood product administration, and port access
\n
• Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and ABG interpretation experience required
\n
• Experience with vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, continuous IV sedation/paralytics, and procedural sedation
\n
• Cardiac monitoring skills including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and 12-lead EKG/ECG
\n
• Experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
\n
• Driver's license and a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address (dated within the last 3 months) required for consideration
\n
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
\n
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
\n
• Must have at least 1 year of separation from INTEGRIS as a permanent employee to be eligible
\n
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO will be accepted
\n
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
\n
• No license issues or disciplinary actions on record
