American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week day shift position at a 25-bed critical access hospital, requiring MO RRT license and BLS, NRP certifications.

- Critical access hospital setting with 25 beds \n
- Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit \n
- Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics \n
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM \n
- Schedule includes Wed, Thurs, Fri work days with Mon, Tue, Wed off \n
- Call required on scheduled work days, from end of shift at 7pm until next clock-in \n
- Call may be virtual (phone consultation on CPAP/BiPAP settings) or in-person for ER/Acute care needs \n
- May float to different units as needed \n
- No specific charting system required \n

- Current MO RRT state license required at time of submission (license required if applicable) \n
- BLS, NRP, and NBRC certification (RRT or CRT) required \n
- Minimum 1 year of experience required \n
- NICU experience not required but NRP certification is necessary \n
- Experience with adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatrics preferred \n
- Skills in ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, IMV) required \n
- Experience with medication delivery systems and aerosol setups preferred \n
- Skills in airway management, suctioning, and intubation assist required \n
- Experience with ABG interpretation and arterial blood draws preferred \n

- Provide respiratory care across adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric settings \n
- Perform ventilator management and weaning from mechanical ventilation \n
- Administer nebulizer treatments and manage medication delivery systems \n
- Assist with intubation and extubation procedures \n
- Perform airway suctioning and tracheostomy care/management \n
- Conduct patient transport including inter-departmental and ambulance transport \n
- Manage care for patients with ARDS, aspiration, pneumonia, and RSV \n
- First-time travelers accepted \n
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate \n
- No radius restriction in place \n
- Facility housing offered at a reduced rate \n
