  OT: $110/hour after 40 hours worked ($3,916 for 48 hour week)

• Location: Near Goodland, KS (Critical Access Hospital)
\n
• Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights
\n
• Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
\n
• On-Call: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
\n
• Start Date: October 5, 2026 (Complete file due September 28, 2026)
\n
• Length: 13 weeks
\n
• Charting System: Cerner
\n
• Local Rule: Local candidates accepted at slightly lower rate!
\n

Dual-Role & Practice Model\n

\n
• Core Function: This is a dual L&D/Med-Surg role. You will provide primary coverage for L&D, Nursery, and Postpartum patients when OB patients are in-house, and float to care for standard Med-Surg patients when there are no OB patients.
\n
• OB Volume: Low-volume regional birth center averaging ~3 deliveries per month.
\n
• C-Section Workflow: During C-sections, the traveler's primary duty is receiving the infant. (The facility will train on unit-specific receiving procedures).
\n
• Strict Unit Ratios:\n

  • L&D: 1:1
  \n
  • Postpartum: Max 2:1
  \n
  • Med-Surg: Max 6:1
  \n
\n

Requirements & Experience\n

\n
• Clinical Experience: Solid Labor & Delivery experience required, along with comfort floating to general Medical-Surgical units.
\n
• License: Active Kansas (KS) or multi-state Compact RN license required at submission.
\n
• Required Certifications:\n

  • AHA BLS
  \n
  • AHA ACLS
  \n
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  \n
  • FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
  \n
  • PALS or ENPC
  \n
