American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level II Nursery and Postpartum position in Colorado, requiring active CO or compact RN licensure and certifications in BLS, NRP, and ACLS.

- Hospital-based Mother Baby unit covering antepartum, labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum, and Level II Nursery care \n
- Patient population includes antepartum patients, laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and well newborns through Level II Nursery acuity \n
- Rotating shift schedule \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active RN license in Colorado or from a valid compact state currently in hand \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and ACLS \n
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required \n
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required \n
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs \n

- Responsibilities include caring for antepartum, laboring, recovery, and postpartum patients, as well as providing lactation education and family-centered care for well newborns and Level II Nursery patients \n
- Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes \n
- Delivers patient education to support informed healthcare choices and promote wellness \n
- Colorado CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention and Support) registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly to allow processing time \n
