About the Job
As an Advanced Funeral Planner, you will be responsible for assisting families in planning and securing pre-arranged funeral services for a local family-owned funeral establishment. This role requires a high level of interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively on a commission-based
compensation structure. You will report daily to the manager and work closely with our team to ensure that every client receives the best possible care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and professional guidance to families in planning prearranged funeral services.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of our services and products to effectively assist clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective consultation and service.
- Report daily to the manager on activities, sales, and client interactions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-home or in-office presentations, community seminars, and follow-up appointments.
- Develop and maintain relationships within the community and with referral partners.
Qualifications:
- Active Life Insurance License or willingness to obtain
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish
- Comfortable with in-person and phone-based sales presentations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working on a commission-based compensation structure.
- Ability to empathize with and support clients during difficult times.
