Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Compensation: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (DOE)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Okmulgee, OK

About the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Opportunity:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This position provides services in both school-based settings and our clinic.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Provide direct, hands-on therapy services in school and clinic settings
  • Support development of functional skills across multiple environments
  • Monitor patient/student progress and report findings to supervising OT
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educate patients, students, caregivers, and school staff on therapeutic techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment
  • Uphold all state licensure, regulatory, and ethical standards

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a COTA
  • CPR certification preferred (or required upon hire)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt between school-based and clinic environments
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
