**Job Description** Setup operator ensures continuous production flow by preparing, loading, and staging component reels onto feeders and pick-and-place carts. The role minimizes line downtime and prevents placement errors by ensuring the correct parts are installed accurately before a job starts. + Accurately load electronic components into the correct feeder sizes and pitches according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and setup sheets. + Double-check component values, part numbers, polarity, and quantities against job documentation before handing feeders over to machine operators. + Prepare and stage feeder carts for upcoming production jobs while the SMT line is currently running to reduce machine downtime. + Inspect, clean, and perform basic preventative maintenance on feeders to prevent mechanical jams or misfeeds during production. + Account for all materials received from the stockroom, print part labels, and return unused components correctly. + Strictly adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines and handling procedures for sensitive electronic components. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Basic understanding of electronic component identification (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.). + Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, setup sheets, and manufacturing process instructions. + Comfort using basic computer systems **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + 13 years in electronics manufacturing or a similar fast-paced production environment. + Basic understanding of electronic component identification (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.). + Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings, setup sheets, and manufacturing process instructions. + Comfort using basic computer systems or manufacturing ERP/MES software to look up job lists and track materials. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $41844 - $66952 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
