RN Supervisor

Our expert team of rehab professionals delivers a customized program of physical, occupational, and speech therapy based on each individual’s needs. River Ridge Living Center, an upscale and gracious setting, is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Part-Time RN Supervisor to join our leadership team for the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel during the assigned shift

• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate, and timely nursing care

• Assess resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status

• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Monitor staffing assignments and provide guidance to nursing staff as needed

• Respond to emergencies and provide clinical decision-making and leadership

• Complete incident investigations and ensure appropriate documentation

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Participate in shift report and ensure continuity of resident care

• Ensure infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards are consistently maintained

• Mentor and coach nursing staff while promoting teamwork and professional development

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

• Strong assessment, leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment

• CPR certification required
