Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a top-tier skilled nursing facility in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. We are a fully agency-free building, with a dedicated in-house staff of 5 nurse managers and a strong, supportive administration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all nursing operations and staff within the facility

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 nurse leaders and nursing staff

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to maintain excellent resident outcomes

• Drive quality improvement, education, and resident-centered care initiatives

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Ohio (required)

• Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in long-term care (required)

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and skilled nursing standards

• Hands-on leadership style with focus on staff development and resident care
