As the Director of Nursing (DON), you will oversee all clinical operations in our 58-bed, CMS 5-Star rated skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest standards of care while fostering a positive, collaborative culture for residents and staff alike.

Salary based on experience
Provide strategic leadership for all nursing services and clinical operations
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain survey readiness and promote continuous quality improvement
Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain high-performing nursing staff
Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve operational and clinical goals
Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, staffing, and resident outcomes
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence
Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey process
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Demonstrated success in improving clinical quality and staff engagement
Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care
