Catering Cook, server and Bartender

The Catering Cook plays a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality food for a variety of catering events. Working within a small kitchen team, this position requires adaptability in preparing customizable menu options and maintaining excellent food safety and presentation standards. The role may involve occasional travel to event locations and demands strong teamwork and attention to detail to ensure a successful catering experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to catering standards
• Control portion sizes to maintain consistency and minimize waste
• Ensure proper food storage to comply with safety guidelines
• Collaborate effectively within a small kitchen team
• Adapt menu options to meet customer customization requests
• Utilize various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Support catering service delivery both on-site and off-site as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in catering or food preparation
• Food Handlers Card obtained within 30 days of employment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Proficient knife skills and time management
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail
• Experience with menu preparation and food presentation
• Basic inventory management skills
