Position Summary

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, helping them develop daily living skills, achieve personal goals, and live as independently as possible.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
  • Administer medications per Medication Aide Certification.
  • Support individuals in achieving independence and personal goals.
  • Monitor health, safety, and overall well-being.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report changes in condition.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active Medication Aide Certification.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License (where applicable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, push/pull 40 lbs, and safely transfer 50 lbs.
