Job Description
Position Summary: Responsible for operating CNC Mill Machine for trimming of production parts
Role qualifications:
- Experience in the operation of CNC machines
- Previous experience in machine operation
Position Responsibilities:
- Set-up of CNC Machines and related equipment
- Operation of CNC Machines and related equipment.
- Maintenance and upkeep of CNC Machines
- Producing fixtures to hold parts to be trimmed
- Troubleshooting of quality issues
- Identifying bad parts
- Troubleshooting problems
- Clean machine at the end of shift.
- Training of machine operators
Essential skills and experience:
- Ability to use and read measuring tools
- Bi-lingual helpful
- Attention to details
- Able to work independently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work performed in a manufacturing environment. Work may require working at different workstations as production needs require. Employee may be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
