Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Santa Maria, CA
Weekly Pay: $3,265.00 ($90.69/hr effective rate)
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week (Guaranteed)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal conditions throughout labor.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate during C-sections.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Float to the Postpartum unit as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• COVID-19 Vaccination (Required)
• Previous Cerner EMR experience preferred
• C-section circulating experience required
• Scrubbing experience preferred

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend Required
• First to Float
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
