Warehouse Specialist I

Job Summary Th e Warehouse Specialist I is responsible for picking, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with facility standards. This role involves operating warehouse equipment, processing returns, maintaining documentation, and supporting safety and housekeeping initiatives. The specialist works in a team-oriented environment to meet daily and weekly shipping goals. Key Responsibilities Pick and palletize finished goods for shipment, working overtime as needed to meet shipping goals Operate forklifts and equipment safely, completing daily vehicle inspections and light maintenance Follow company procedures and meet facility standards across departments Pick, stack, and cross-check products to ensure 100% accuracy Process parcel cases including over-packing, consolidating, and shipping Load and unload trailers according to safety procedures Verify shipments received, determine product locations, and stock inventory Process returns ensuring inspection, stocking, and accurate paperwork for customer credit Use carrier systems and tools to ship products Maintain warehouse documentation for filing at end of day Audit international shipping documents for accuracy and compliance Communicate proactively with management and team members regarding returns and key issues Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines and Drug Enforcement Laws Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse Participate in team initiatives such as Safety, 5S, and Lean programs Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing Effective communication skills for working in a team environment Knowledge of GMP and FDA guidelines Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers Familiarity with international shipping documentation and carrier systems Certifications Forklift certification preferred Education: High School Certification: Forklift certification
