Litigation Paralegal

Highly respected employment law firm in downtown Minneapolis is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This person will work closely with other LAAs and Paralegals to support attorneys on sophisticated matters while gaining hands-on exposure to all phases of litigation.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2–5+ years of litigation support experience in a law firm setting who wants to deepen their skills, take ownership of meaningful work, and be part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation
• Prepare, proofread, and file pleadings and correspondence
• Manage deadlines, calendars, and case files with precision
• Assist with discovery, including document collection, organization, and review
• Coordinate filings, service, and case logistics
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of litigation support experience as a paralegal or litigation legal administrative assistant
• Paralegal certificate preferred
• Working knowledge of Minnesota and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
• Experience with/exposure to e-filing in State and/or Federal Courts
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF programs
• Excellent correspondence, writing, proofreading, and formatting skills, sometimes on time-sensitive and high-profile documents
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Confident communicator with a team-oriented mindset and comfort handling client contact
