Position: Personal Injury Attorney 
Location: Forest Hills, NY (on-site)
Salary: $150,000-$200,000 + Bonus

Overview

A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated advocate who is passionate about helping injured individuals obtain the compensation and justice they deserve.

The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator, confident litigator, and compassionate counselor who can effectively manage cases from intake through resolution. You'll work alongside a collaborative legal team that is committed to delivering exceptional client service and achieving outstanding results.

What You'll Do

• Manage a personal injury caseload from pre-litigation through settlement or trial
• Conduct case evaluations and develop winning legal strategies
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance throughout the legal process
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to build strong cases
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial and serve as lead or supporting trial counsel when necessary

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar
• Proven experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters
• Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation, civil procedure, and insurance claims
• Experience with case management from intake through resolution
• Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Trial experience or significant litigation experience
• Demonstrated success securing favorable settlements and verdicts
• Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, or related matters
• Established ability to independently manage a caseload
