School Occupational Therapist - Denver, Colorado

This onsite, contract opportunity spans from August 11 to May 21, 2027, offering the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team while working three days per week.

Ideal candidates will bring expertise in school-based occupational therapy, helping young learners succeed inside and outside the classroom by focusing on daily living, fine-motor skills, and sensory-motor strategies. Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential required, or proof of application in progress
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for K–5 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted assessments and individualized occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop IEP goals and strategies
• Document student progress, maintain compliance with all relevant school and state requirements
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to address students’ needs holistically
• Educate staff and caregivers on best practices to enhance student development
