  • Coordinate with experts (e.g., forensic, medical, economic) to develop case theory and prepare expert testimony.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pennsylvania case law, procedural rules, and insurance industry developments; ensure compliance with PA Bar requirements.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience, with substantial exposure to insurance defense, excess coverage, or large loss matters; senior-level experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience handling complex, high-exposure cases and large-loss litigation.
  • Strong legal research, analysis, and brief-writing skills; excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presence.
  • Experience supervising junior attorneys and managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.
  • Familiarity with discovery management, depositions, motion practice, and expert witness preparation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with claims professionals, adjusters, and insureds while maintaining client-focused service.
