  • Monitor subcontractor performance, jobsite safety compliance, and overall field productivity.
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular project updates regarding schedule, financial performance, risks, and overall project status.
  • Manage client expectations and resolve project issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support technical troubleshooting efforts and coordinate solutions with engineering teams when required.
  • Lead project closeout activities including punch lists, commissioning, O&M manuals, warranties, turnover documentation, and final inspections.
  • Drive successful project completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience within commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, plumbing, or MEP contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, project scheduling, and project delivery processes.
  • Experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, or mixed-use construction projects.
  • Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, invoicing, retainage, and margin control.
  • Proven experience reviewing contracts, negotiating project changes, and administering subcontract agreements.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience directing project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Excellent communication, client management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
