Job Description

Join our team as a Job Prepper, where you will play a crucial role in refurbishing power distribution equipment, supporting the dynamic data center industry. Your main tasks will involve preparing parts for painting through processes such as grinding, sanding, and washing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for painting by grinding, sanding, and washing.
• Support the refurbishment of power distribution equipment.
• Ensure all parts are ready for the painting process.

Essential Skills

• Experience with sanding and grinding.
• Familiarity with paint preparation in an industrial production setting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with construction or job shop work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in sandblasting and labor-intensive roles.
• Work experience in construction or job shop settings due to the physical nature of the work.

Work Environment

Work the second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM with an average of 10 hours of overtime per week. During summer months, an AC unit is provided, although the building itself is not climate-controlled. Join a team that emphasizes safety and cleanliness.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livingston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
