Make a positive impact in an educational environment by providing essential Occupational Therapy support to elementary students. This contract opportunity spans an academic year, offering a structured, rewarding place to apply your expertise.

You'll work onsite and closely collaborate with school staff and families to help students achieve their developmental and learning goals. The schedule is set for three days per week, giving you a balanced workload and regular interaction with your caseload. The assignment begins on August 11 and runs through May 21, 2027, providing opportunity for long-term connections and consistent support for students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license
  • CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification is required, or proof of application must be provided
  • Background in pediatric or school-based OT preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IEP (Individualized Education Program) procedures and documentation
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy and interventions to support students’ access to the curriculum
  • Participate in student support teams and IEP meetings, providing clinical insight
  • Maintain clear documentation and progress notes in compliance with school standards
  • Educate and consult with teachers, staff, and families on interventions and accommodations
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
