We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional looking to take ownership of client engagements while working alongside a collaborative group of experienced CPAs. Responsibilities
-Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
-Manage multiple tax engagements from planning through completion while ensuring deadlines are met.
-Research tax issues and prepare clear, well-supported tax memorandums.
-Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate recommendations to clients and partners.
-Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing responsive, high-quality service.
-Mentor and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and technical support.
-Assist with IRS and state tax notices, examinations, and correspondence.
-Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.
 

Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
-CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
-3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
-Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary taxation.
-Experience with tax preparation and research software.
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
