Electrical Assembler

Job Summary The El ectrical Assembler supports manufacturing and warehouse operations by assembling electrical controls, enclosures, and wiring systems in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and recognized electrical standards. This role requires precision, documentation, and collaboration with engineering resources to ensure quality, safety, and continuous improvement in production processes. Key Responsibilities Re ad and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine materials and plan work sequence Create formal documentation for controller assembly functions Assemble electrical controls across all assembly areas Mount electrical enclosures on cases and install devices in cabinets or on structural surfaces Run wiring, cables, and conduit in compliance with UL471, NEMA, and NEC standards Attach wire ends to components, plugs, or terminal strips using crimping devices Mark identifying data on completed wiring and ensure workmanship criteria are met Collaborate with engineering on new and special product development Train others in assembly processes and standards Maintain clean and safe work area while following prescribed safety rules and company po licies Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to understand and interpret basic electric circuitry Knowledge of and ability to use basic electrical test equipment Demonstrated ability to read instructions and wiring diagrams for internal equipment and components Familiarity with hand and power tools used in electrical application s Preferred Qualifications Pr evious electrical work experience Prior manufacturing environment e xperience What Success Looks Like D elivering accurate, high-quality electrical assemblies that meet engineering and safety standards Collaborating effectively with engineering teams on new product development Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Training and mentoring team members to ensure consistent workmanship Driving continuous improvement efforts in assembly proces ses Education: High School
