Job Description
*Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (QTS Data Center)
*Position Summary:- The Data Center Project Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day onsite leadership of utility construction activities supporting the QTS Data Center project. This role ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications while meeting budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
- Lead and oversee field crews, subcontractors, and daily construction operations.
- Enforce all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific requirements, maintaining a zero-incident culture.
- Establish daily production goals and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules to ensure scope compliance.
- Identify, track, and communicate scope changes, risks, and project updates to Project Management.
- Coordinate material procurement and equipment needs to support uninterrupted operations.
- Complete and review project documentation, including safety observations, production reports, timesheets, and progress updates.
- Review and approve invoices, receipts, and job-related expenses in a timely manner.
- Support workforce development through employee coaching, performance management, hiring, and training activities.
- Act as the primary field contact for customer concerns and project-related communication.
- Perform hands-on field work and equipment operation when required.
- Promote company values and maintain a professional presence with clients, vendors, and team members.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and DOT Medical Card.
- Previous utility construction, civil construction, or data center infrastructure experience preferred.
- Proven experience leading construction crews and managing field operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and job orders.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving or performing administrative duties.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic devices for documentation and reporting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
