Job Summary
We’re hiring a Security Supervisor to lead our on-site team at Ross Park Mall. In this role, you’ll oversee daily security operations, supervise staff performance, and ensure a safe, customer-friendly environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage both people and security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers to ensure strong performance
- Enforce post orders, safety procedures, and company policies
- Conduct patrols and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Maintain daily activity reports, logs, and incident documentation
- Coordinate with local police, fire departments, and mall management
- Ensure proper operation of systems (CCTV, fire panels, radios, access control)
- Train and onboard new team members
- Assist with scheduling, payroll submission, and shift coverage
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff
Qualifications
- Previous security supervisor or leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable
- Comfortable handling emergency situations and decision-making under pressure
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Experience with CCTV, alarm systems, and life safety systems preferred
- Must meet all state/local security licensing requirements
