Compensation & Incentives

  • $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
  • $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Rotating call for nights and weekends

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the MRI department to ensure efficient workflow and outstanding patient care.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for MRI Technologists, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, including on-call coverage, to ensure appropriate department staffing.
  • Perform MRI examinations while producing high-quality diagnostic images using advanced imaging equipment.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of MRI anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and compassionate care throughout each examination.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new employees and students.
  • Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media in accordance with department protocols.
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage for evenings and weekends.
  • Support departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (MRI) certification required.
  • Florida licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Minimum of several years of MRI experience required.
  • Previous leadership or lead technologist experience preferred.
  • MRSO Certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
