We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation, located in the heart of Watsontown, Pennsylvania. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition care to our residents and patients.

About Our Center:

At Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care with a personal touch. Our state-of-the-art facility offers short-term post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care. Our team is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment, where residents can feel confident and comfortable. We receive patients from several area hospitals, including Evangelical, UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport, and Geisinger.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans for residents and patients

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and monitor progress

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care

• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Eligible to Become a Registered Dietitian (RD)

• Strong understanding of nutrition principles and practices

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and nutrition software
