Quality Inspector/Bundlers – Day and Night Shifts Available
Penmac Staffing is hiring Quality Inspectors/Bundlers for a leading manufacturing company. These temp-to-hire positions are ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll work at the end of the production line inspecting finished boxes, bundling them into shipping cartons, and stacking pallets for delivery to customers.
Pay and Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, $15/hour
- Night Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30pm–3:00am, $16/hour
- Overtime as required
Responsibilities for Quality Inspector/Bundlers
- Inspect boxes for imperfections such as adhesive issues, soft edges, or print defects.
- Bundle and pack boxes into shipping cartons according to specifications.
- Stack cartons on pallets for shipment.
- Calculate quantities per carton to optimize space and materials.
- Communicate with team leads and report if reject rate exceeds 10%.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with shift cleanup.
Requirements for Quality Inspector/Bundlers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for 10-hour shifts.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork are essential.
