Intensive Home-Based Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated clinician to join our team as an Intensive Home-Based Therapist. In this role, you will work with youth and families involved with the Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare systems, providing evidence-based therapeutic services that promote family stability, healthy relationships, and long-term success.

As part of our Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHT) Program, you will deliver services in clients' homes and communities, meeting families where they are and helping children remain safely with their families whenever possible.

You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing supervision in the evidence-based Intensive Home-Based Therapy model while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to supporting youth and families facing complex challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual, family, and crisis intervention services using the Intensive Home-Based Therapy model.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Help families strengthen communication, problem-solving, parenting skills, and overall family functioning.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with schools, courts, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, medical providers, and other community partners to coordinate services.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Advocate for youth and families while promoting resilience, safety, and family preservation.

Qualifications Required Education & Licensure

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Active Michigan licensure as one of the following:
  • LMSW
  • LLMSW
  • LPC
  • LLPC

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of clinical social work or counseling experience
  • Experience working with adolescents, families, or child-serving systems is preferred but not required

Salary

Compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and credentials.
