Security Officer - Healthcare Setting
Location: Sharon, CT
Pay Rate: $22.15/hour
Hours per Week: 48
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 08:00 to 20:00 (4x12-hour shifts)

 

We’re looking for a professional, reliable Security Officer to join our team at a healthcare facility in Sharon, CT. If you care about safety, enjoy helping people, and want to be part of something meaningful, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Monitor entrances, exits, and overall facility activity
• Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the site
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations calmly and professionally
• Enforce site policies and procedures, including access control
• Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Offer excellent customer service and assistance to anyone on site

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Pay

• Fixed schedule: Friday–Monday, 08:00–20:00
• Hours per week: 48
• Pay: $22.15 per hour
• Overtime may be available based on site needs
