Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a well establish Property Management Group, located in Rhode Island is searching for a Accounts Payable Clerk. This person will be responsible of processing invoices, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role works closely with vendors, contractors, and internal departments while supporting accounting operations across a commercial real estate portfolio.

• Process, review, and code invoices for payment using Yardi or similar ERP systems.
• Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Verify purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and ensure timely payment processing.
• Maintain organized financial records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Process employee expense reports and assist with file management.
• Support month-end reconciliations and other accounting projects as assigned.

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable, accounting, bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (Yardi preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
