ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring an AI Builder to lead applied AI work for enterprise-grade agent systems. This role is ideal for someone who can combine machine learning, product engineering, customer discovery, and strong ownership to turn complex business workflows into reliable AI products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build AI agents, evaluation systems, training workflows, and reinforcement learning environments.
• Lead applied AI projects from problem discovery through prototype, deployment, and iteration.
• Work directly with senior customers and stakeholders to understand workflows and productize AI solutions.
• Partner across research, product, and engineering to ship useful, reliable AI systems.
• Turn repeated AI patterns into reusable internal tools, playbooks, and platform abstractions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in applied ML, reinforcement learning, product engineering, AI systems, or top-tier consulting.
• Strong ML fundamentals, including evaluation, training, problem decomposition, and quality measurement.
• Solid software engineering skills with Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Ability to work with customers, define high-value use cases, and build or scale end-user applications.
• High ownership mindset with a record of shipped work, not only coordination or research support.
• Able to work full-time on-site in New York City.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience building enterprise AI products, specialist agents, eval frameworks, or post-training systems.
• Background in reinforcement learning, applied ML, model alignment, or AI workflow automation.
• Comfort working like a founder or pod lead with customers, engineers, researchers, and executives.

THIS ROLE MAY NOT BE A FIT IF

• You cannot show meaningful applied AI, ML, product engineering, or shipped technical work.
• Your experience is mostly coordination-only with limited ownership of real outcomes.
• You prefer a remote-only role and cannot work on-site in New York City.
