About the Role:
Delicate Care Transportation LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team in Bourbonnais, IL. Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Transport freight and cargo to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and any delays
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
- Handle delivery documentation, bills of lading, and other required paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
- Previous experience operating Class A vehicles preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS (Hours of Service) rules
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
