General Labor (In-Process Inspection)

Overview
We are seeking first shift general labor candidate who will assist in fabrication practices using small hand tools to dual action sand, roll flatten, count, stack, inspect and route parts to next operations. This candidate will have the ability to learn quality inspection requirements while using proper hand and CNC equipment to correct part defects.

Shift Availabilities

(First Shift) 6am - 3:00pm (Monday - Thursday) 6am - Noon (Friday)

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections of metal components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
• Verify that products meet specifications according to ISO 9001, and other relevant quality management systems
• Detail duties such as product inspection to identify defects and determine proper method to correct non-conformance.
• Detail duties such as counting and documenting
• Operate small hand tools such as grinders, buffers, and DA sanders
• Must be able to stand, lift, and bend to pick and palletize parts.
• Ability to read work instructions and department routings
• Ability to work well with others in your same work area and other departments
• Work in an efficient and timely manner
• Keep work area, including machine surfaces clean at all times.
• Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction
• The associate is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment; such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
