Job Description
Top 3 skills: 3D modeling, understanding/translation of engineering blueprints and design optimization.
Tools to know include but not limited to aPriori, SEER-H, SEER-MFG.
Key Responsibilities
3D Modeling: Translate 2D concepts, engineering blueprints, or sketches into accurate 3D models and assemblies.
Design Optimization: Evaluate designs for functionality, structural integrity, and manufacturability.
Drafting: Produce clear, comprehensive 2D manufacturing or construction drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
Use of tools for estimating purposes when 3D model design is not possible including but not limited to aPriori, SEER-H, SEER-MFG.
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years’ experience in engineering, mechanical/electrical 3D design or should cost
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.

High degree of organizational skills and ability to execute under tight timelines
Maintain status of workload, balance multiple work products and escalate to Lead and Director when needed
Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industries
Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, engineers, and clients to refine design specifications and resolve technical challenges.
Documentation: Maintain and organize detailed project files, revisions, and engineering documentation in alignment with industry standards.
Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit, CATIA, or Creo).
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and material properties.
